DOCTOR-ON-CALL SERVICE

Spring Garden Medical Clinic offers a Doctor-on-Call service when a doctor from the Clinic visits the patient at home when the patient, who might be old or infirm or injured, is unable to visit the Clinic, and/or for whom an online consultation might not be sufficient, or for a patient who cannot do an online consultation.

Doctor-on-Call is a home consultation programme of Spring Garden Medical Clinic, Thiruvananthapuram
This is a special service for patients of the Clinic who are unable to come to the Clinic.
It is intended mainly for the elderly and the infirm, but can also be used by patients who are recuperating at home from an illness or surgery, or do not have help to get them to the clinic, or cannot do an online consultation.
- Weekly or monthly home consultations can also be arranged
The home visit will be conducted by a doctor and a nurse. It includes a consultation and a clinical examination by the doctor; the nurse will revisit for minor procedures if necessary. Further follow up visits by the doctor can be arranged.
IMPORTANT: EMERGENCY CASES ARE NOT HANDLED BY THIS SERVICE.
Since we do not take Emergency Calls, sufficient time is needed to organize the visit because Doctors / Nurses may be on other Clinic duty. This may take a couple of hours; kindly plan the house visit in advance.
You will be visited by the one of the Family Physicians designated for this support service, who will examine the patient and provide a home treatment and monitoring plan.
House visits can be arranged on all working days between 8 am and 8 pm.
Registration is required before the first visit.

THE PROCESS

Register for the Doctor-on-Call service by filling in THIS FORM. This is a one-time process. The Registration Form is also available at the Clinic.
Once you have registered, call on 0471-4011441, 2449869 or 9562986464 at least 6 hours before the expected visit to request for an appointment at home.
You will get the confirmed appointment time and a call from the Clinic before the doctor arrives.
Kindly ensure that an immediate family member or caregiver is at hand when the doctor visits.
Payment can be made to the doctor when they visit or online before the visit.
Follow all instructions given by the Reception or on the website.
